Is It Fall Yet?

I am so tired of the heat. And I know everyone else is, unless you are one of those weird people that likes the feeling of being slowly baked.  I am ready for fall and have been since May! I am ready for roasted green chile , hot air balloons, pecan pie, and all the super exciting things that are happening. I have some really amazing shoots coming up, and in October one of my favorite photographers in the world will be joining me for a special session. My schedule is almost completely booked through November, which is crazy! It was only a year ago that I bought my camera and finally stopped bogarting my parent’s Canon. And it was only in January that I registered my business and decided to make a full time job out of it. I spent over seven years shooting for other companies and running studios for other photographers, but these last seven months have been the most exciting and stressful of my life. Running a business isn’t as easy as my Dad makes it look…

So, with that, I want to share some images from one of the best experiences I have had since starting my own business. I was lucky that an amazing couple took a chance and invited me to shoot their wedding. I loved every second of it and was so glad to have Jonathan Cottrell as my second. Thank you so much to everyone who has kept me going  these past seven months. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without my best friend and husband, Phil, and my parents’ unconditional support. Thank you to all my family and friends. It really means the world to me.
